Release Summary

Thanks for checking in to see what's new in this release of GradesFirst. As part of this release, we've made some changes to our email system to improve deliverability for email messages sent from AOL and Yahoo email addresses. Read on for more details.

Improvement: Email changes for messages from AOL and Yahoo email addresses

GradesFirst sends authorized email on behalf of GradesFirst users with personal email addresses configured in their profiles. Recently, AOL and Yahoo made changes to protect users' email addresses from unauthorized use. As a result, their policies and best practices have changed. We have updated our email system's behavior accordingly so that emails from GradesFirst will continue to be delivered successfully.

Previously, GradesFirst would send emails with the user's email address in the "From" line of the message. Based on recommendations from AOL and Yahoo, GradesFirst will now send emails with the user's email in the "Reply-To" line. The "From" line will be set to "conversations@gradesfirst.com".

This change only affects messages sent from GradesFirst using AOL and Yahoo email addresses.
